When we heal the Earth, we heal ourselves.
We are not separate from our beautiful home, Earth - even if at times it seems as though our actions are inconsequential to many, nature is always trying to communicate with us. Intentionally supporting us - intentionally asking us for support.
The Kogi people know this. And it is the powerful message they carry. An ancient indigenous tribe, the Kogi live in the heartland of the Sierra Nevada mountains of Colombia. Their mission is to listen to, protect, and restore Earth. They believe their job is to take care of the world. And now they are sharing their knowledge with and compelling the modern world, who they compassionately refer to as “Younger Brother”, to understand Earth's interconnectedness and the severe consequences of our destructive actions.
The Kogi's worldview sees the Earth as a conscious, living organism, and explains that damaging parts of it is akin to harming a living being. They have decided to share their understandings of how nature works, in the belief that doing so will open our minds and hearts so they may share their burden of healing our dying planet.
Truly, supporting their work and mission through action is a form of self-advocacy. Because we are One with world, any form of care, protection, and healing that we offer is one that we offer ourselves. Your actions intended to heal can be seen as a golden thread, woven between you and all other living beings, including our planet. And we, too, deserve healing.
I have the great honor, privilege, and opportunity to share sacred space in person with the Kogi elders at the end of this month. So when I say this is a cause that I am deeply connected to - this is what I mean. I am beyond excited to sit with them in deep presence, openness, and receptivity to learn from them and become a steward of their wisdom and receive the medicine and healing that they offer us. I know that being with them is going to change my life. -
Even in brokenness, there is beauty.
The Kintsugi Rainbows collection was born out of a powerful initiation into grief, a deepening into love, and the expansiveness of creative joy and renewal.
Since my father’s passing at the beginning of August, rainbows have appeared to me, over and over and over again. During moments that have felt truly too painful to bear and then suddenly, I would move from pain to awe, wonder, and deep gratitude - alchemizing these moments with luminous signs of divine presence is what it has felt like. Connecting with the frequency of the rainbow as a messenger, similar to the Greek goddess Iris - who travels from heaven to earth along the rainbow with golden wings, I felt my dad’s presence in those moments. Entirely uplifted, feeling repreives from the heaviness of loss. Because who could really be only sad seeing a rainbow? I have really been holding the duality, or multi-faceted nature, of this.
This paired with the ancient art of Kintsugi, or “golden repair”. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with gold binding. The concept centers around the idea that our scars are what make us beautiful and that something broken can be made even more than its original form and in this way we honor its uniqueness, wholeness, and resilience. It’s all about embracing imperfections and seeing beauty in brokenness, with love, or gold, as the mending force.
This series celebrates the profound beauty that emerges when life’s fractures are met with grace and reverence. Each piece, unique and an exploration of light meeting shadow, fragility and expanded strength, and the sacred interplay of grief and healing. The fluid, prismatic ethereal forms of rainbows merging with 24-karat gold. This is my expression of healing alchemy, powerful transformation, the way loss can illuminate and bring great gifts to our life.
Brokenness becoming radiance.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
In many places, raffles are limited to nonprofits, so to honor the spirit of giving and stay in integrity, I’ve chosen a giveaway format. This means:
Every person who makes a donation to support the Kogi elders will be entered into the drawing.
No donation is required to participate. So if you cannot contribute financially, you can still enter the giveaway for free — because inclusivity matters. Instructions for free entry are provided at this link.
How It Works:
Provide your name and email (which you just did to get here!)
Read about the collection and cause
Submit a donation of your choice
Winner will be chosen randomly from entries
And that’s it! You are in!
In a few days, on September 21, I’ll randomly draw a lucky winner and share an announcement via email and socials on September 22, 2025. The winner will receive the painting of their choice from the two complete. 100% of the proceeds raised will be donated to the Kogi.
All proceeds go directly to support the Native Elders:
To protect their sacred lands
Preserve their traditions
And help them continue their global work of healing the Earth’s ley lines and energetics

Make a donation.
The Kogi elders are traveling from Colombia’s Sierra Nevadas to share their message of planetary healing and interconnection. By contributing, you’re not only helping sustain their mission but also joining in a movement of sacred reciprocity — giving back to those who carry ancient wisdom for the Earth.
This fundraiser is a celebration: of my birthday, of my father’s life, of our living planet, and of the resilience that emerges when grief meets beauty. Thank you for being part of it.
