VITAFER

$1,100.00

Vitafer is Latin for life bringer—from vita, life, and fer, to carry or bear.

In contrast to the depth of Muladhara, Vitafer asked for something brighter and more visceral: the red of blood. Blood as life carrier. Blood as life force. Blood as the vital river, continuously flowing to sustain our lives.

In meditation, I saw the branching pathways of veins illuminated in gold. That vision became the center of the piece—an honoring of the extraordinary, often unseen intelligence of the body and the sacred fluid carrying oxygen, nourishment, and life to every part of us.

A sense of reverence for the preciousness of the body and its life-sustaining processes remained with me throughout its creation. As I painted, I centered myself in aliveness, vitality, and joy, connecting energetically to music and allowing movement, vibrancy, and celebration to become part of its making.

Vitafer is a celebration of the life already moving within us—a reminder to honor the miracle beneath our skin and meet our own aliveness with gratitude, reverence, and joy.
